Wow...had been quite awhile since I last blogged...
Last Sunday, our Company conducted our bi-yearly Dinner and Dance at the Swisshotel, this year's theme was : It's Showtime!
I was involved in the Can-Can Dance Performance, imagine we only had one rehearsal prior to the actual day's performance, and what's more, many of us had never dance on stage before. Really prayed hard that things would not turn out ugly.
Here's how I was dressed on the actual day, not too bad actually. And our performance (which involved Tracy, Joan Pereira, Pearly and myself) went on well, though we might not have danced as good as the professional dancers, we managed to pull through the performance well.
This experience had built up my confidence level - it's a really good feel!.
Shermin from the Fan Club called around 10pm to inform that the latest Teenage magazines are giving away Fahrenheit Door Hangers - zoom!!!! I was out of the house and ransacking the magazines racks of the 7 eleven stores. Only managed to get the ones with Jiro and Chun, would try my luck at Popular tomorrow. And I am going to place my order for FRH's 2nd albums...so exciting!
Yeh!! After the FC meeting on Sunday, I managed to learn how to fold hearts with coloured straws.
I decided that I shall fold as many hearts as possible for Jiro's gift, and of coz I would seek help from Alicia, who's an expert in this.
Day 1 - 138 hearts folded (did it on my own, WOW! what a feat) Day 2 - 90 hearts folded= 228 hearts (only managed to fold twenty hearts at workplace- the rest were folded with the Alicia's and Eliza's help)
When I first saw the group of members, the first reaction was "My, my, they're all so young, looked like they are juz ard Alicia's age".
The girls were all so full of energy and enthusiasm, and not to mention, creativity and perseverance. Loads of stories to share on their idols' chasing experiences, I bet I would not have that kind of energy and determination.
And when I saw them demonstrating the dance steps of "我有我的Young", I was impressed - this group of girls really got talents.
Had the mixed team 9 pin competition this morning, the games played were better than the one played on 6th Dec. And got news from Edmund that the ladies team are in the top twenty, and we are due to compete in the Final on 12th Dec, 加油!
Fong came over to our place today, we discussed about his plans to rent our room, so once the current tenant is out, he would move in. And he had agreed on the rental of $350 per month.
Tomorrow is the Fan Club Gathering Day, I've prepared some gifts for members who are attending. Hope that they would like the items.
Alex cleared the fish tank today, and our hall looked so much more spacious. And Alex mentioned that his stomach had yet to recover since his diarrhea last week, and he is showing signs of flu.
First, it was an email from Yahoo! auction seller that my "X-Family" book had arrived, arranging to pick it up mid of next week.
Next, was a call from Felicia of the Dongundeafeated FC who informed me that a group of the fans would be coming over to my place this Sunday for a fanclub gathering....so exciting!!
Then, comes my damn bowling tournament, my games an scores were so disappointing....how to compete for the mixed tournament this Saturday..maybe would "chicken out" tomorrow.
Received a call from Ah Fong, he was asking if we are ok with renting our room to him. Checked with Alex and he's okie with it, now it's to decide how to put it forward to the current tenant.....
Tomorrow I would be having our Bowling Tournament @ CSC....very excited. Need all the support from family and friends and JIRO......加油!加油!!
Did not sleep well last night, only managed an hour sleep.....superbly tired!! Placed a bid in Yahoo auction for this Jiro pillow. And was surprised to receive a reply from seller that i've won the bid....so happy! Already plan that after collecting this pillow- i'm gonna placed it at the office.....motivating factor. Another surprise today was that i was asked to participate in the Bowling 9-pin tap this Thursday and Saturday....so exciting. Gave a try on creating own blog background, but without much success....would try again.
Went for a shopping spree today, Jurong Point and Parkway Parade. As usual, only ventured into the Comics Connection outlets to search for Fahrenheit products.
Here's my findings today-
Fahrenheit Letter Pad - 2 sets from Comics Connection ($3.90 per set).
Love all the pics featured, total of 27 pieces of letter pad
Fahrenheit Jigsaw Puzzles (1000 pcs) - $5 When I spotted this, I almost freak out, keep telling myself - I want this, I can complete the Jigsaw!
Fahrenheit wrappers - 3 sets @ 60 cents per piece Alicia asked me where I intend to use these wrappers....hmmm.....first would be to wrap the posters holder..the rest to decide later. 宁可杀错,不可放过。 But can sense that Alex wasn't too happy over my craze right now...........
This is my first try in blogging. Not too sure what this is all about, eyes seeing stars and back aching...but if this blog is successful, for the sake of Jiro, all the pains and hard work is definitely worth it.加油!
