`My poor Bryan is not feeling well  Bryan went to school this morning, when he reached home, mother called to inform that Bryan is having a fever. Alex took him to the doctor, and was given 2 days MC, but tomorrow is our HR Workplan, I doubt I would be able to take the day off to look after him.......why like that? `Hubby is joining me for the concert!  Yes, finally managed to convince hubby to join me for the Dec Concert in Singapore. Cos if he attends, I could concentrate fully on watching the performance while he take charge of the photos and videos...hahaha! `Dead Line? Anyone.....  Imagine having to crack my head on work on a precious family weekend, all because of some statistics required by "someone" by 28th. `My review on SHA 2008 Attended the Singapore Hits Awards, an annual event organised by YES 933! Earlier, I wasn't too enthusiastic about this event, as Fahrenheit was not able to attend this event due to their concert in China. But, after an almost 3 hours show, I would say that it' a eye-opener for me. Well, I got to watch the live performance of various artistes, to quote a few: Jade Liu, Yoga, EasonChan， Derick, May Day, Fish Leong, 迷路兵，etc. Their live performances are superb, especially May Day! `生活好单调哦！  今天，又面对了超过八个小时的电脑， 忙到连上网搜寻大東消息的机会都没，还有更精彩的吗？ 利用午餐时间到医院走了一趟，探看在医院休养的 Ｃａｎｄｙ 与 Ｅｌｉｚａ。 Ｃａｎｄｙ 的状况还不错，她告知她无法观赏飞轮海在新加坡的演唱会了， 因为它必须在家里休养长达三个月的时间。好可惜哦！ 至于Ｅｌｉｚａ， 状况就不是很好，真的很替她担心。毕竟她还这么年轻吗？！ A whole bunch of us from HR visited Candy at SGH in the afternoon. She just had her operation yesterday, mentioned about doctor having to "cut" her veins to prepare her for another major operation in a few weeks's time...scary!! But overall, she looked quite okie, she was even able to crack jokes with us. Just that a pity that she had gonna give up her ticket to watch Fahrenheit's concert this December, as her operation would need her to have total rest for over 3 months. While the rest went for their lunch, I went to Ward 47 to visit Eliza, who also had an operation yesterday morning. When I saw her, my heart sank sea deep, she looked so weak and frail, with so many tubes surrounding her....God!Please don't let her suffer like that, she's still so young... `Gloomy..... Eliza had her operation this morning, according to Lawrence, she might need to go through another round of chemotherapy. Candy also went for her operation this morning, she told Ah Lye that the operation is very painful. Would be visiting both at the hospital tomorrow during Lunch..... Wishing them speedy recovery........ Today's work is sending reminder notifications, one after another, like never end one leh.........then tonnes of emails would pour in requesting to be taken out from class.......hai....if only there's a $$$ penalty to withdraw from course....staff would then think twice before signing up for courses....and think even harder when wanting to withdraw.... `Feeling lost.........  hmmmph....back to work again! But then, I'm still feeling the excitement of the KL trip in me....Just couldn't forget the way Jiro held my hands.....Oh!! Hey!Hey!! Time to come back to reality okie? Last night, I spent almost 4 hours to complete the dedications to 933, slept at around 4am in the morning.....thus, can expect the rest of the day, I'm like in a daze........but guessed what, I manage to customise a very nice booklet to present to Jiro this coming November. `Fahrenheit KL Concert Promo-15 Oct 08 at Sungei Wang  Yes, I'm back, in one piece....and here to share my trip experience with you... On 14th Oct 08, with Alicia, left Singapore by coach, as early as 7am. Reached KL around 2pm, hailed a cab to bring us to Axcess HQ to collect our tickets- cabby charged us RM75, very expensive, but main aim is to get hold of tickets. Then, we checked in at Melia Hotel and went shopping the rest of the evening at Berjaya Times Square. Customised this tote bag which I really think is very cool!!! On 15th Oct 08, realised that Fahrenheit would be checking in at Grand Millenium Hotel -RM458 per night, checked in to the same hotel too. A very big crowd at Sungei Wang Plaza in the evening. `Appraisal time!  Yo! We were reminded to submit our year end appraisal to our appraiser by this Friday. With me going on leave the next two days, that left me with only one option- die, die, must submit by today! What a big headache!! `Well Done!  Finally, it's the actual day for the performance of our long rehearsed dance. Staff were impressed by our dance item. As we were all dressed in costumes, wigs and masks- seemed that no one recognised who we really are. That really helped, otherwise, I would have "chickened out". Well done! Partners! I even won a prize for the SSS SMS draw, CED randomly picked the 3 winners from a total of about 45 entries, calling the winners on their mobile. The first winner was Mahendran- very lucky guy, he also won the recent F1 ticket draw. Next, Mei San was picked as the next winner. Then, CED called the third winner, for a while, there was no response, then CED commented " I'm now listening to a very nice song..". That prompted me to take a look at my mobile, thanks to my colour me ringtone which I recently subscribed, I was picked as the third winner. It's my lucky day!! `So much work, with so little time!!  Early this morning, received an sms from Lawrence, who informed us of Eliza's health condition. She might be due for another major operation, pending the advice of her surgeon this Wednesday. I hope that her God would take care of her, as she has always been a very kind and caring person. And at work, things seemed like no end, emails after emails, phone calls after phone calls. At times, I really would be asking myself- am I really up to these challenges or not? But all effort would be wasted if I give up now...haha...the never-say-die spirit is alive again!! Just need a break this week to rejuvenate, and all the required energy would be back!! `Counting down to the very exciting week ahead! Next week, I've got 2 "major" events.... Come Tuesday...it would be the performance day for our Excel day event....praying very hard that I would tumble down the stairways and stage. I am really looking forward to my KL trip on Thursday, cos I'm gonna have a chance to meet my Jiro REAL close!!!!  Thursday.......so exciting!!! ♥ @ 1:16 AM

`PA ACTIVE Day  Today is PA ACTIVE Day, we had a series of games, dance, etc. The day started with the Cake Baking session conducted by Lisa Leong or Wong, I can't remember the name, but the way she conducted the session was very entertaining. She actually taught us how to use a rice cooker to bake cakes, and taught us some healthy lifestyle tips. I tried Salsa Dancing, this is the "sexy" version of cha-cha. Then, there was this Archery, this is definitely a first and last try ever for me, cos my arms are aching like hell right now, from the tension of pulling the bow. There's also this Kangoo Jump, whereby we put on some kind of boots and went bouncing like a kangaroo- very FUN! Afterwhich, we had the brisk walking session, lucky for me, I was assigned the duty as a road marshal, only required to direct the human traffic to the correct route. `Dry Run for Excel Day  In the afternoon, we had a dry run for our Excel Day Event at NACLi. This is the first time that we are practising our dance at the actual performance ground, alot of adjustments need to be made due to the constraints of the stage. `No partner to accompany to KL....super sad!!  I had it all planned to go to KL on 16 Oct for Fahrenheit Promotional Tour, but now, I can't find a partner to follow me there....Catherine is unable to apply leave, Felicia is financially strapped. Hubby, Alex, has a company event on Saturday, now I am left with only Alicia, not too sure if she' interested to join me.....super sad!! So now, really wonder, would I really have the gut to venture alone in KL?!! I really looking forward to see Jiro.....but now.............no mood for tomorrow's dance rehearsal either. `Dance rehearsal for Excel Day  Ouch!!! Another afternoon on crash course dance rehearsals. But, today, the tempo was much better than last week. `SPH Career Fair  Had to report for duty for the SPH Career Fair at Suntec City Convention Centre....really a chore on a precious Sunday leh..... But good thing was that time passed very fast for my shift....and by 815pm, we managed to pack up everything and I even got home on time to watch the "Superband" Finals. `Canon Digicam  Today, bought a new Canon Powershot Digicam at $440 from Sim Lim Square. This seems to be one of the best deal after comparing the prices from various retail stores. `Hectic Dance Practise  In the afternoon, we had another dance rehearsal with Fan Dong Kai. The session was really a very intense one, one that lasted for almost three hours. Pails broke, nails chipped, sweat "dripping, lots of hard work put into this dance item. Sure hope that the Excel Day Performance would be a success. `Holiday  This morning, got the news that Fahrenheit would be having an event in Malaysia, on 17 Oct, to promote their Fantasy Concert. Hope that I could be there to attend this event too! Went to Eastpoint Shopping Centre, and bought a second hand PSP for Bryan as his birthday gift. Alicia brought us to this food outlet that serves wonderful Baked Rice.
